Then start asking yourself simple questions.

Is the MPC885 a member of the MPC8xx family of processors? Yes.
Does U-Boot support MPC8xx processors? Yes.

So ythe answer is, yes, U-Boot will be easily adaptable to  a  MPC885
processor.
