It is a custom board? Did you register a MACH_NUMBER?

In you board_init() do something like:

         /* arch number of AT91RM9200 */
         /*gd->bd->bi_arch_number = 251;*/
         gd->bd->bi_arch_number = MACH_TYPE_MULTIIO;
         /* adress of boot parameters */
         gd->bd->bi_boot_params = PHYS_SDRAM + 0x100;

No.

Just make sure your board_init() sets the correct (TM) arch_number.

Hi Steven,

#define MACH_TYPE_AT91RM9200EK         705

is the right choice for starting 2.6.12, but the old 2.612rcX kernels need
251 (0xfb) ;-)
