[U-Boot] fw_setenv not working

Hi,
 
im currently trying to set the u-boot environment variables by using
fw_setenv. i hope my configuration everything is fine.. as im getting
proper crc check and
able to print environment variables, but not able to set using
fw_setenv, as im getting the following error.
 
CRC error on /dev/mtd0 : Invalid argument
Error: can't write fw_env to flash
 
Any help would be gr8..
