You may want to contact LPD support; eventually they replace your
board with a working one.

We are using ELDK.

Your test may indicate another issue (with the tool chain). Note that
we saw different manifestations of this problem: some boards worked
perfectly fine (no error ever), others failed always, one was workign
or failing depending on temperature, phase of moon and other unknown
factors.
