font-family:Arial'>Does anyone have experience supporting the TI PCI1620 PC
Card Controller in U-boot and Linux?<span style='mso-spacerun:yes'>&nbsp;
</span>I am working with a custom board that uses this controller.<span
style='mso-spacerun:yes'>&nbsp; </span>I am able to use 32-bit <span
class=SpellE>Cardbus</span> card in Linux but not 16-bit cards.<span
style='mso-spacerun:yes'>&nbsp; </span>The error I get is &#8220;unable to
allocate memory&#8221; but I have traced it down to the kernels inability to
access the CIS on 16-bit cards.<span style='mso-spacerun:yes'>&nbsp; </span>I
believe that the PCI1620 is not being configured correctly to allow access. <span
style='mso-spacerun:yes'>&nbsp;</span>It is my understanding that it is U-Boot&#8217;s
responsibility to setup the controller. <span
style='mso-spacerun:yes'>&nbsp;</span>The PCI1620 contains <span class=SpellE>ExCA</span>
Compatible Registers that are register-compatible with the Intel 82365.<span
style='mso-spacerun:yes'>&nbsp; </span>I have found that U-boot has a driver
for the 82365 so is it as simple as configuring U-Boot to use this driver?<span
style='mso-spacerun:yes'>&nbsp; </span>That is the path that I&#8217;m going to
explore but if anybody with past experience can offer some guidance it would be
mush appreciated.<o:p></o:p></span></font></p>
