You can use the ELDK to build for example U-Boot and Linux kernel
images.

The provides libraries and target tools however provide a 32 bit
runtime environment.

At the moment there is no 64 bit support available for MIPS yet. We'd
be happy to provide such an extension. Please feel free to contact me
