I find the problem is in the PATH; I did like you :
/home/jp/project/ELDK-4.2/usr/ppc-linux/bin:/usr/local/sbin:/usr/local/bin:/usr/sbin:/usr/bin:/sbin:/bin:/usr/games:/home/jp/project/ELDK-4.2/usr/bin:/home/jp/project/ELDK-4.2/bin

Because me I had : 
/usr/local/sbin:/usr/local/bin:/usr/sbin:/usr/bin:/sbin:/bin:/usr/games:/home/jp/project/ELDK-4.2/usr/bin:/home/jp/project/ELDK-4.2/bin:/home/jp/project/ELDK-4.2/usr/ppc-linux/bin
