This file is a linker scipt read by the gnu linker. The format is
documented in the ld manual distributed with binutils.

RedHat have a version onlie at  
http://sources.redhat.com/binutils/docs-2.12/

The documentation on the linker scipts is
quite hard to digest, but it is possible, given enough patience.
