I think your patch has been obsoleted by the work  of  Nye  Liu,  who
added MPC86xADS support in a patch he submitted on 16 July 2003.

Can you please check the current versions of U-Boot, and prvide a new
patch (if necessary) based on the top-of-CVS version?
