I plugged an MPC8248 into an 8272ads and U-Boot from CVS 'Just Worked
(tm)'.

The MPC8272 Family includes the MPC8247, MPC8248, MPC8271 and MPC8272
processors. Same good stuff with binary combinations of ATM and Security
processor!
