Hi,

Are you using a flash to boot from? I had a similar problem with an
ADI Coyote based board. Turns out that if the flash chip is in "Write
enable" mode when the reboot occurs, the CPU can't read the bootloader
from it and the board hangs. I added a reset handler in the MTD
mapping driver (ixp4xx.ko in my case), which forced the flash chip in
to read mode before the reset is attempted.
