I think you have to realize that your  own  custom  hardware  may  be
using  the  same  processor as the corresponding AMCC eval board, but
yet you still need a specific port of  U-Boot  (and  Linux)  to  your
hardware.  You  must  not expect that the code that is configured for
the AMCC eval board and running fine there would work on your  custom
board - usually this will be NOT the case.

I don't want to talk myself out of business, but  the  following  are
non-issues:

This is available out of the box  with  the  standard  U-Boot  source
tree.  No  work  is necessary. Ready to run inary images for all AMCC
eval boards can be found on our FTP server, see
ftp://ftp.denx.de/pub/u-boot/images/amcc/

This is available out of the box  with  the  standard  U-Boot  source
