Just FYI:

We have integrated Intel IXP4xx  NPE  Ethernet  support  into  U-Boot
using  the  BSD licensed Intel access library; see the git repository
at http://www.denx.de/cgi-bin/gitweb.cgi?p=u-boot.git;a=summary

We have integrated Intel IXP4xx NPE Ethernet support into the current
Linux 2.6 kernel tree using the  latest  BSD  licensed  Intel  access
library (version 2.1.1)


[BTW: IXP4xx NPE Ethernet support has also been added to the DENX
Linux 2.6 kernel tree; see
