[U-Boot-Users] Question about MIPS 4KE core

Hi, all
   I am using U-boot 1.2.0, and intend to port it to a MIPS 4KE core
cpu. From the hints in README, I read the source code in general. :)
  My Question is: would cpu/mips/*.s compatiable for a 4KE one? I have
noticed that there is only a board for MIPS 4K, and some condition
macro used in asm files.  If I want to port succ, should I modify
something in cpu/mips/*.s or only implement the source files in
board/_MYBOARD_/ ?
