dtc  -R 8 -f of-tmcu.dts -O asm > of-tmcu.S
makes
  ls -s of-tmcu.S
  24 of-tmcu.S
and
  size of-tmcu.o
 text    data     bss     dec     hex filename
 5696       0       0    5696    1640 of-tmcu.o
