[U-Boot-Users] Running w/o flash

Hi,

Can someone please point me to documentation that describes how to
configure u-boot to not use traditional flash but still allow things
like NAND and Dataflash?

My board doesn't have traditional flash so I'm not sure why I need to
tell u-boot that there is some.

I suppose it may be the case that I have to pretend it's there but never
use it, but I would like confirmation of this if possible.
