Where exactly is the needed, i. e. which spoecific situation  do  you
have  in  mind  where  this function cannot be implemented as part of
either a "preboot" or a standard "bootcmd" command sequence?

Niklaus Wirth has lamented that, whereas Europeans pronounce his name
