I have to admit that I don't have  a  clue  why  get_timer_masked  or
reset_timer_masked   would   be   needed.  Originally  (see  the  PPC
implementation), there was only get_timer,  reset_timer,  and  udelay
(and IIRC reset_timer was not even necessary).
