Hi,

While browsing common/console.c, I found 2 banners:

-  U-Boot INITIAL CONSOLE-NOT COMPATIBLE FUNCTIONS
-  U-Boot INITIAL CONSOLE-COMPATIBLE FUNCTION

What does this indicate?

One first pass, I also appeared that some functionality is duplicated
e.g. serial_puts, puts, serial_printf, printf, et.

Is there a specific reason for it?
