History shows that such an approach is a pretty  reliable  method  to
delay  the patch forever. I suggest to modify the procedure such that
the patch gets applied if  none  of  the  board  maintainers  objects
within  a  reasonable  time  (say, one week from now, which should be
sufficient as the patch was posted already more  than  a  week  ago).
This is especially so since the patch fixes a year old issue.
