Thanks, I figured it out.  I was decompressing the kernel over itself in
RAM.

It hangs in Linux, but you're posting to the U-Boot list?  Do you think
there's something U-Boot is doing that is causing this?

Please try using the latest upstream U-Boot and Linux, rather than what
came with the BSP.
