I got this patch in a private mail from Ruslan with the comment:

"I have some changes in this driver. It works with SPI flash memory and
with other devices."

He seems to be too shy to send it himself (?) So I just send it, maybe it's
useful for somebody.

If you like to comment on this patch, please send comments or questions
directly to Ruslan.

Note: Checkpatch still complains about some lines over 80 characters.
      I think this is acceptable, fixing this would make the style
      even worse.
