Simply: it does not.

When Linux starts running, U-Boot is gone and dead; nothing of it
survives the boot of Linux except for the parameters passed to the
Linux kernel.

Linux has no idea which boot loader has been used to start it, nor
can Linux call any functions from the boot loader.
