[U-Boot] practicality of demonstrating u-boot in a QEMU session?

if `make sandbox` is good enough for your needs, stick with that

if you just want to demo it on your comp and want "more" than sandbox 
currently offers, the Blackfin port should work great under its simulator

otherwise, i can't speak to specifics, but ideally this should work :)
