[U-Boot] U-boot build: How to add a static library to the u-boot build

Hi,
I am working on a project where I need to include a static library (lib.a) in the u-boot build. Currently I am unable build u-boot with the static library. Can you please provide me steps to include the static library file in u-boot Make file?
