Honestly, I don't know if I ever tried USB on mine.  The "good" news is
that the board should be working reliably back quite a long ways, if you
want to grab some older releases and see if it used to work, say before
Kconfig USB migration started.  Or even older and it's something else
that broke it.  Thanks!
