[U-Boot] [PATCH v1 1/3] drivers: gpio: Handle gracefully NULL pointers

Prepare the way for a managed GPIO API by handling NULL pointers without
crashing nor failing.
VALIDATE_DESC() and validate_desc() come straight from Linux.
