Possibly one of the drivers is doing something in ofdata_to_platdata()
that it should be doing in probe()?
You should check what error dev_power_domain_on() is returning.
One trick is to add
return log_msg_ret("some msg", ret);
to all the error returns, define CONFIG_LOG and LOG_ERROR_RETURN and
you should get some detail.
