As per Fabio's comments on patch 4, it needs to be dropped from this series.
Moreover patch 2 i.e removing unused config options will now be splitted into two patches as it includes changes for imx and layerscape platforms which will go via Stefano and Priyanka's tree respectively.
Patch 1 (driver) also require a change to remove compilation warning/error observed after rebasing the series.
