Well, because there is no simple way, without building the
custom ipmitool and the cxmanage Python tool to access the ECME and thus
the NOR flash, then doing the update.
The DTs are very stable, and haven't changed in years. There was one change
a while back, for the size of the GIC CPU interface (Linux 387720c93812),
which fixed KVM operation, but KVM/arm is no longer supported in mainline
kernels. Also there was a command line override back then. I actually have
a U-Boot patch to fix this up at runtime, but I just see I never sent this
out :-(

For getting the DT: they come on the NOR flash, with the machine. If
you want to see them, you can always inspect what ends up in Linux or
U-Boot. Using the kernel DTs, loaded separately, won't help you anyway,
as you will miss the changes the management controller did to them, at
boot time (DRAM discovery).
