[PATCH v3 02/27] moveconfig: Avoid deprecation warning for setDaemon

Use the recommended new way of setting a thread to be a daemon.

This avoids a warning:

   DeprecationWarning: setDaemon() is deprecated, set the daemon attribute
      instead
