The test is a request from our management and defined from our HW team to make an internal certification of the DDR component we use. The test must run over the whole DDR area. It cannot be placed and run from DDR itself but from internal RAM. u-boot and linux are too large to take place in the internal RAM.
Alternative like to run the test on 99% of the DDR area was not accepted.
