I worry you're going to spend another month of effort to get this to 1:1
compatibility (modulo fixing bugs) with what we have today and get
disappointed once it rolls out to -next. But I guess I've already spent
too much time trying to convince you this is a bad idea and that your
cure is worse than the disease.
