I had already pulled everything from the cvs tree so I had the current
version but I hadn't tried make mrproper, that did the trick.

Thanks for the tip.  I wouldn't have thought of that, didn't know any one
outside of the kernel people used mrproper to do a super clean.  Again,
thanks.
