[ELDK] ELDK 4.2 for ARM released

Hi everybody,

we are hereby announcing release 4.2 of the ELDK for ARM processors.

The highlights:

· EABI support
· Software and Hardware Floating Point versions

This makes the new version especially useful on ARM processors with
hardware FPU support, like the Freescale i.MX31 or the Samsung
S3C6400 or on other ARM11 CPUs.

ELDK 4.2 for ARM is available for download immediately from
our FTP server at

The DENX Embedded Linux Development Kit provides a complete and
powerful software develo ment environment for Embedded and Real-Time
System:

· Cross development tools (compiler, assembler, linker etc .)
  to develop software for the target system
· Native tools (shell, commands and libraries) that will run on the
  target system
· Firmware that can easily be ported to new boards and processors
· Linux kernel including all device drivers, board-support functions etc .
· Supports Xenomai ­ kernel extensions for systems with hard
  real-time requirements
· EABI support
