This kernel uses the arch/powerpc configuration, i. e. hardware
configuration is based on using the device tree.

Are the drivers for this card part of the mainline (kernel.org) Linux
kernel tree?  I can't find them...

That was the old arch/ppc configuration which did not use the device
tree yet. A lot has changed in the kernel since, also and especially
in the way how interrupts are assigned.

Seems your driver needs updating to be usable in the current kernel
environment.
