[ELDK] Problem building PPC user apps with ELDK

You don't need two different installations. Just install ELDk 4.2 a
single time.All you need are the ppc_4xxFP packages for your 440 /
460 systems.

we don;t know this AMCC provided code and cannot comment on it. Please
contact Applied Micro if you need help with this stuff.

Well, building complex packages in a cross envrionment is never a
trivial thing to do.

You don't show us how you set up the build process, or how you
configure busybox.

This is most probably caused by incorrect setup, i. e. a pilot error.

ELDk 4.2 includes Busybox 1.7.1, so I see little use in building such
an old version when you have a more recent one ready to use (and the
SRPMS available in case you want to rebuild, for example with changed
configuration).
