Please explain what you want to do wuth a PCI video card, a CDROM
drive, or CAN in the U-Boot bootloader?

If you are looking for a workstation setup you should probably be
using another board.

As for the status:

* PCI video card:
  - in U-Boot: not supported yet, no plans to add such support
  - in Linux: add your card, and try out if your driver works

* ATA/IDE interface:
  - in U-Boot: not supported yet, there will be some work to
    allow to boot from a IDE disk drive in the future
  - in Linux: not supported yet, there will be some work in the future

* CAN driver:
  - in U-Boot: not supported yet, no plans to add such support
  - in Linux: we have an adaption of the PCAN driver running

Hope this helps.

Best regards,

Wolfgang Denk
