So, that should work just fine.

Interesting.  It would have to be patched a lot, though. OK.

This probably has a so-called "New Memory Map" on
it for the 85xx boards.  Note that the U-Boot and
the Linux must agree on which memory map to use.

So with U-Boot, can you verify memory at all?
