[U-Boot-Users] Regarding Toolchain used for Compilation

Hi all..

Actually i'm using u-boot -1.1.1 for booting our mpc8540 based board.

I'm successfully able to compile the toolchain using Embedix tool chain.

But im failing when i use montavista toolchain or Metrowerks powerpc 
toolchain.

So what is the main difference between these toolchains ??

Whether the e500 core plays any role ?

If anybody can clearly explain the diff it would be useful for me.
