[U-Boot-Users] OK if RAM, Fail if ROM in malloc

Some advice please..  Samsung S3C2410 ARM920T, Bringing up LN2410SBC based on altered smdk2410. Minimal U-Boot runs in ram at 33f80000, I move to ROM 0 and it dies right after flash size is printed.  OCD Commander tells me PC stuck somewhere
in malloc. SDRAM is stable and realloc happened. BSS -> 33F9A340 I got
407K to the end of sdram.  Any advice?
