my u-boot version is 1.1.1, and the cpu is 440gx. I want to test the cache performance of CPU 440gx utilizing its PLB Performance Monitoring unit. among the events which PPM can monitor is DCU reading, but I am not sure whether this event occurs on every load instruction or on the miss of the disired data in the data cache. thanks.
