That's a good observation.  What is happening here and
can I do something to "fix" or help the situation?

Indeed.  And in the meantime, it is causing me to have
to hand-support multiple users as well.

Any chance we can help get some of this resolved?
Do we need to convert to GIT or so?  Would that help?
