Sorry, no experience with NetSilicon stuff, but..
U-Boot runs very well on plain ARM7TDMI core, take a look at board/dave/B2
(which is based on Samsung S3C44B0X) and cpu/s3c44b0x (which is
an ARM7TDMI processor).  Sorry but there is not a cpu/arm7tdmi directory ;-).
Still I never try to compile in Thumb mode, but only using ARM instructions.
