Hello U-Boot users!

Hey! I'm new to this list and embedded programming, please be gentle :)

I've loaded u-boot.hex to my ezkit board via VDSP++ Flash Programmer. 
Connected with a terminal program to serial port of the port with proper 
settings. But I don't see any output from the terminal on powerup. I was 
expecting to see a boot prompt.

Am I supposed to ? If so, what could be the problem ?

P.S.: Jumpers are at default position (boot from flash)
