Hi all,
I had the Query regarding acquiring an IP address from the Dhcp Server.
When I run #dhcp, it acquires an ip address and tries to download and load the bootfile from the server.
When I do a #setenv autoload no followed by a #dhcp, it updates the ip address, serverip and gatewayip.
In these cases, it overwrites the serverip address as well, updating it to that of the Dhcp server. Can you commend why DHCP will alter the serverip address? It seems odd to me that DHCP will tell me which host that I want to TFTP the images from.
Regards,
