Does anyone have experience with uboot debugging in CodeWarrior through
USB TAP Controller (Freescale)?

I have yet to hear of successful reports of using CW for U-Boot
debugging, especially when it comes to handling the before / after
reloation to RAM phases.
My best recommendation is: get yourself a BDI3000.
