Ok. So what about implementing the current, existing LED API ?
you'd get:
void status_led_set (int led, int state);
that sound a lot like your set_led function. And then
status_led_set(STATUS_LED_{YELLOW,BLUE,RED}, state)
which is basically the same as your set_reg_led?
