I am sorry, but both the Subject: and the commit message are totally
cryptic to me - what does this mean?  Is this a bug fix, or a new
feature?  Does this affect all systems, or only a few?  Which ones?

Please provide a descrip[tion thatg makes clear what the patch is
supposed to do.
