I pushed an updated patch series to branch mips_optimize_cache_init if
you want to give it a test. I plan to push my patch series together with
yours in the next merge window. Thus you should remove this KSEG0 jump
in the next iteration. Thanks.

the address from DT should be a physical one and needs to be remapped:

	void __iomem *sysc_base = ioremap_nocache(base);

> +
> +	str = (char *)base + MT76XX_CHIPID_OFFS;

readl(sysc_base + MT76XX_CHIP_REV_ID_OFFS)

> +	printf("CPU:   %-*s Rev %ld.%ld - ", STR_LEN, buf,

same here

the code looks like it was written for ".set noreorder" so maybe this
needs to set

this pattern with always loading the register address and
loading/storing with offset 0 is bad style and inefficient and repeated
all over the function. This snippet could be rewritten as:

	li	t1, MT76XX_RGCTRL_BASE
	sw	t2, 0x704(t1)
	sw	t3, 0x70c(t1)
	sw	t4, 0x710(t1)
	sw	t5, 0x714(t1)
	sw	t6, 0x718(t1)
	sw	t7, 0x71c(t1)

I suggest that you define all base addresses as physical address and do
this once at the beginning of the function (physical address remapped to
uncached register space in KSEG1):

	li	s0, CKSEG1ADDR(MT76XX_SYSCTL_BASE)
	li	s1, CKSEG1ADDR(MT76XX_MEMCTRL_BASE)
	li	s2, CKSEG1ADDR(MT76XX_RGCTRL_BASE)

and then do all loads and stores like this (from the snippet above):

	sw	t2, 0x704(s2)
	sw	t3, 0x70c(s2)
	sw	t4, 0x710(s2)
	sw	t5, 0x714(s2)
	sw	t6, 0x718(s2)
	sw	t7, 0x71c(s2)
